We've been thoroughly impressed by how well the MAC Professional chef's knife has performed in four consecutive rounds of testing. It's lightweight, balanced, and comfortable to hold, all important characteristics for any knife you use daily. It's also well-constructed and built to last. This Japanese-made knife's Pakkawood handle was easy to grip and felt sturdy in our hands, wet or dry, no matter the ingredient we were working with. The low weight makes it extremely maneuverable and easy on the hands and wrists, and we had great results with chicken, sweet potato, onion, and garlic in testing.
